Senior Sales Consultant - Rail

Overview

PSA has experienced steady, sustained growth and is looking for a self-motivated, positive Sales Leader in the Rail industry to further increase company growth by acquiring and managing relationships with new clients. In this role, you will demonstrate and pitch the value of our company in 30 minutes meetings, set up by PSA’s Lead Generation team, to sales leaders, business owners and high-level decision makers. You will convert prospects into closed won deals and revenue generating pipelines. You will be provided with an amazing sales tool stack to further support the evolution and conversion within your sales funnel. In addition to expanding our database of clients in target markets, negotiating contracts and closing deals, we will rely on you to partner with our marketing and lead generation team, along with management, to improve upon the current business development strategy and messaging.

This role allows you to use your relationship building skills to make a direct impact on your earnings and the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as the specialized Sales Leader in Rail – engages in a public facing capacity for PSA ensuring industry/market engagement is vibrant;

  • Translates client challenges and opportunities into unique business value adds and builds and executes on a comprehensive business strategy to construct and maintain a forward-looking opportunity pipeline to drive business results;

  • With PSA BU Leader, monitor overall program offerings and determine efficiency and effectiveness. Recommend improvements to achieve and deliver improved results;

  • Live and breathe the PSA core values and be a culture carrier throughout the organization.


We’d Love to See

  • Passionate about PSA’s purpose, vision, and story;

  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience in YOY growth in new client acquisition, ideally in Rail industry;

  • Proven experience in planning and implementing sales strategies;

  • Ability to communicate an inspiring vision and understand how to leverage PSA’s offerings and commercial models to achieve the vision;

  • Has a collaborative nature and can build relationships with other stakeholders, support teams and peers in the organization;

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to effectively communicate complex topics clearly and concisely, and provide feedback both to colleagues and prospective clients face-to-face, on the phone, and by email;

  • Can generate creative solutions to open up new opportunities or to resolve difficult business situations;

  • Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and maintain organization in a changing environment;

  • Highly energized with a sense of urgency;

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, LinkedIn, Reply.io, Seamless, SkyLead, and HubSpot;

  • Willing and able to travel up to 15% of the time;

  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer. The role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions;

  • Able to effectively work individually as well as with a global team;

  • Flexible, confidential, high level of integrity with a “can-do” attitude.
